MOLNLYCKE Mepitel one with safetac is a new development in the quest to minimize interruptions to healing. An innovative one-sided wound contact layer of mepitel one lets you give the healing process the time it needs. It can be left in place for up to 14 days. The safetac layer prevents the outer dressing from sticking to the wound and Ensures atraumatic dressing changes. The safetac layer seals around the wound edges, preventing the exudate to leak onto the surrounding skin, minimizing the risk of maceration. Mepitel one can be used on a wide range of exudating wounds such as painful wounds, skin tears, skin abrasions, surgical incisions, partial thickness burns, traumatic wounds, blistering, lacerations, partial and full thickness grafts, radiated skin, leg and foot ulcers. It also can be used as a protective layer on non-exuding wounds and on areas with fragile skin. Allowances are based on wound conditions and amount of drainage. Sized 3"x 4" (7.5 X 10cm).
