Durahesive skin barriers/wafers are designed for people whose stoma output is mostly liquid. Unlike other skin barriers/wafers that can break down around the liquid output, Durahesive skin barriers swell up to protect the stoma. This special effect, called turtle necking, helps create a more secure seal without harming the skin. Convex is good for people with a retracted or flush stoma. Durahesive skin barriers are also easy to fit, apply and remove. Best of all, they are resilient enough to adhere to skin while showering, bathing and swimming. This barrier has an overall dimension of 4.5 x 4.5 inch, a small stoma (1/2-7/8"), and a 1-3/4" flange.
