C.R. BARD INC. Bardex Brand lubricath 26 french 2 way foley catheter with a 5cc ribbed balloon. This latex lubricious coated catheter provides for smoother insertion and enhanced patient comfort through the hydrogel coating that absorbs fluid, thus creating a hydrophilic cushion between the catheter surface and the urethra. The hydrogel coating maintains its integrity throughout the course of use, resulting in less trauma upon removal. To maximize patient comfort, latex catheter eyes are burnished and polished for smoothness. The large catheter eyeholes reduce clotting and maximize urine flow. Medium standard one eye tip with the balloon that should be inflated using 10 ml of sterile water. Please take care not to use ointments or lubricants having a petrolatum base with this catheter as they will damage latex and may cause the balloon to burst.
