MOLNLYCKE Mepilex AG is an antimicrobial soft silicone foam dressing that is effective in sustained release of silver for up to seven days. It has proven effective on common bacteria found in wounds and begins to work within 30 minutes of application. Melipex ag minimizes the risk of maceration, can be cut to size and can be lifted and adjusted without losing its adherent properties. Since it reduces the number of microorganisms, Mepilex ag may also reduce odors. It can also be used under compression bandages. This product is non-covered under Medicare part b.
