SOUTHWEST TECHNOLOGIES, INC. Elasto-Gel plus is our occlusive hydrogel sheet dressing with sta-fix tape included in the dressing pouch. The tape is included for added convenience when a water resistant tape is required to attach the dressing to the wound site. The sta-fix tape is a non-woven, polyester base tape with an open structure and coated with adhesive by a special process to produce a highly porous, breathable tape. The use of sta-fix tape allows the Elasto-Gel plus dressing to be adhered to difficult and complex contours. Elasto-Gel plus hydrogel dressing are indicated as an external use dressing for local management of pressure ulcers (stage i-iv), diabetic ulcers and wounds, surgical wounds, skin tears and 1st and 2nd degree burns. Elasto-Gel plus may be used in the management of scars, as a cast and splint pad and for minor pressure relief. Packaged 5 per box in the 4" x 4" size. Allowed 6 every 30 days, tape involved may be separately covered. Sold by the package of 5 dressings.
